Founders Story
PEAQ was founded by Ali Hassoun, a wellness entrepreneur driven by a simple belief that wellness should be accessible, social, and enjoyable. After guiding more than 10,000 people through cold water therapy and recovery practices, Ali witnessed the transformative power of wellness, not only on physical performance, but also on mental resilience, confidence, and overall quality of life. Yet he noticed a gap in the market. While many wellness concepts focused on treatments and performance, few created genuine opportunities for people to connect. PEAQ was born from the idea that wellness should not feel like another task on your to do list. It should become part of how you live. Today, PEAQ stands as the Middle East's first social wellness club, pioneering a new category that blends recovery, movement, hospitality, and community into one seamless experience.
Our Space
Designed as an urban sanctuary in the heart of Dubai, PEAQ offers a unique environment where members can disconnect from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with themselves and others. Inspired by communal wellness traditions and contemporary hospitality, the space has been thoughtfully designed to encourage both recovery and social interaction. Every detail, from the architecture and interiors to the member journey, has been carefully curated to create an atmosphere of calm, belonging and wellbeing. Whether attending a Lagree session, experiencing contrast therapy, relaxing in the recovery spaces, or enjoying a coffee in the café, members move through a space designed to make wellness feel effortless and enjoyable. At PEAQ, wellness extends far beyond treatments and workouts. It is embedded in every interaction, every conversation, and every moment spent within the community.
Expansion
Since opening its doors, PEAQ has established itself as the leading social wellness club in the Middle East, setting a new benchmark for community driven wellness experiences. Following the success of our flagship location in Al Quoz, Dubai, we are excited to be expanding with a second location in DIFC, bringing the PEAQ experience to one of the city's most vibrant business and lifestyle districts. But our vision extends far beyond Dubai. We believe the future of wellness lies in spaces that combine recovery, movement, connection and culture.
